Los Golden Joystick Awards 2023 han concluido, revelando a los ganadores destacados en diversas categorías. El Ultimate Game of the Year fue para Baldur’s Gate 3, una hazaña impresionante para este título.

También, el reconocimiento de Most Wanted Game fue otorgado a Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, mientras que Resident Evil 4 se llevó el codiciado Game of the Year de PlayStation.

En la categoría de PC Game of the Year, nuevamente se destacó Baldur’s Gate 3. El título de Nintendo, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, se alzó con el Game of the Year en la plataforma de Nintendo. En el ámbito de actuación, Neil Newbon como Astarion en Baldur’s Gate 3 y The_Ben_Starr como Clive Rosfield en Final Fantasy XVI fueron reconocidos como Best Supporting Performer y Best Performer, respectivamente.

El galardón Critics’ Choice Awards fue otorgado a Alan Wake 2, y el Breakthrough Award fue para PlayCocoon de GeometricInt.

El hardware de PlayStation VR2 se llevó el premio a Best Gaming Hardware, mientras que la comunidad de Baldur’s Gate 3 fue reconocida como la Best Game Community.
